What is essence? An essence is an energetic imprint of the life force of a particular living entity; or as Mirriam-Webster Dictionary would describe: the permanent as contrasted with the accidental element of being; the individual, real or ultimate nature of a thing...; the properties or attributes by means of which something can be placed in its proper class or identified as being what it is.
So, how do you find your essence? First, you acknowledge that although we may be relative to one another and have come into live this life in the form of individual humans, we ultimately have our own energetic imprints, and our own life forces which are particular to each of us and our own stories.
Have you ever tried to tune into your inner landscape? In really paying close attention to what you truly want to do in each present moment? Have you ever followed your intuition, knowing it was illuminating the right choice, leaving you with a sense of vitality through the active process of trusting in its power? Why do you think following your intuition gave you a sense of vitality rather than feeling depleted of your vital life force, your energy, or your essence?
There is a continuous exchange of life force energies that are always occurring around and within us, even though we may not be able to witness this process in each passing moment. Every living life force has its own essence, and each life's force survives and thrives by receiving what it needs, giving away what it doesn't, and sharing its resources. What we expel or put out, receive or accept, has a direct cause and effect on how we sense, feel and react.

So here's an example of this energy exchange: I watched this video by Bruce Lipton called Money and Energy because I was looking for something to support me through feelings and emotional reactions that had been surfacing around money. Bruce spoke about how there is an energy exchange, how we choose to put out or use our energy, directly effects our life force, or essence. | |
The Exchange of vital life source energy: what we put out, what we receive
Okay so, what you put out is what you receive, here's an example:
Scenario 1: if you love your job, you do the exercise and nutrition that the body is telling you is the right practice for you, and, you are doing things you are passionate about, then you are most likely going to think that the world moves pretty smoothly and manifestation is reality. Or...
Scenario 2: you may not like the work you do, eat for comfort, feel tired and lethargic often, and are wishing there were things you could do or should do.
Which scenario do you think is going to have a good energy exchange?
Scenario 1: where you love what you are choosing to do because it feels right to you? or...
Scenario 2: where you are still doing the same old thing because it is what you think you 'should do' or what 'someone else' thinks you 'should do?'.
What can you do to light your spark? What allows you to flow with gratitude and love from one day to the next? What makes you feel like you can breathe?
What is your true essence telling you?
Feed your essence and you will 'find your
true essence.'
May you take as many moments as possible each day to pause, and to choose what's you; until you finally are present for as many moments as possible!
Like the flowers, trees and water have essence and live only by what they truly are, they thrive in their true essence, may you thrive in yours!

*If you haven't watched any of Bruce Liptons lectures I highly suggest them as I find they are a wonderful resource to open insight and deepen into my own true perspective! P.S. The Biology of Belief is one of my favourites (p.p.s. you don' have to watch it all at once)
